ATHA Yoga Foundation
We are committed to offering our community transformational growth while connecting with fellow humans through love, kindness, and education.
Through our outreach programs and partnerships, we aim to make yoga, meditation and healing bodywork accessible to individuals who may not have the opportunity to experience its benefits. By collaborating with local organizations, schools, and community centers, we seek to bring the healing power of yoga to all.
Our mission to offer these gifts to the world by starting in our own community.
On our property, we follow the Yamas and the Niyamas. The Yamas and the Niyamas are yoga’s ethical guidelines laid out in the first two limbs of Pantanjali’s eightfold path. They are like a map written to guide you on life’s journey. Simply put, the Yamas are things not to do, or restraints, while the niyamas are things to do, or observances. Together they form a moral code of conduct, and serve as the basis of our practice.
